Welcome! I'm Esther Kimani, the proud owner and founder of Airhost Interior Design, specifically based in Livermore, nestled within Northern California's San Francisco East Bay Area. With a specialization in hospitality and residential interior design, I've dedicated myself to crafting spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

 

My ability to visualize space in my mind is a unique gift that I bring to my clients, helping them navigate and solve their design dilemmas. I prioritize creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional and safe, ensuring a harmonious blend of design elements.

 

​Drawing inspiration from my travels to various destinations worldwide, my designs incorporate cultural influences that add a unique and personal touch to each project. After high school, I made the journey from my native Kenya to Minnesota, where I pursued business studies at the University of St. Catherines. Motivated by my passion for design, I completed my interior design education at Austin Peay University, paving the way for my entry into the hospitality design industry, particularly in the Airbnb sector. This journey eventually led to the establishment of Airhost Interior Design a residential and hospitality interior design studio.

Beyond design, I find joy in wine tasting, which inspired me to create a unique program called "Design and Wine with Esther." Much like pairing wine with certain foods, I explore the idea of pairing design concepts with specific wines, combining two of my passions enjoyably and innovatively.​
